The technology behind Equi-Safe^® was developed in Europe over 20 years ago with the simple goal of creating a maintenance-free horse fence that would, by its unique design, minimize potential injury to the horse, and due to its attractive appearance, enhance property value. 

AVCON, Inc, the parent company of Equi-Safe^®, recognized a need in the US equine fencing world for a product that combined the strength and durability of HDPE with a unique electric fence component built in, and took Equi-Safe^® horse fence to the United States in 2003.

As horse owners ourselves, we were in search of not only a safe and affordable fence to replace our timber fences but a fence that was maintenance free and that would outlast the current fences on the market today.

We found this in Equi-Safe Fencing, made by a family owned Company based in New Jersey, USA. Equi-Safe^® horse fence is a product unlike anything seen here before now. It is unbreakable, environmentally friendly, safe, weather resistant and economical.  This fence is the latest equine fence on the market in the United States of America and Canada and about to be released in the United Kingdom and Europe.
